Tutor.com is happy to announce that Live Homework Help, the leading
after-school service that connects a student with a professional tutor
for live, online homework help is now available to all Mac users.
Students using Safari (2.0 or higher) browser on Mac OS X or Firefox
(2.0 or higher) browser on Mac OS X can now connect to an expert tutor
seven days a week for the help they need.
In the coming weeks, Tutor.com will be updating all of our materials to
reference this exciting news. If your library currently has a statement
regarding Live Homework Help being incompatible with Macs, we’d
recommend you remove it as soon as possible. Students using Macs
connect to tutors the same way PC users do and the experience in the
online classroom is identical.
While the Mac platform still maintains a minority market share of
personal computers in the US, we heard repeatedly from our clients that
Mac compatibility was very important especially in certain communities.
We closely monitored customer feedback and worked with our internal
development team to launch our Mac compatible version of Live Homework
